Berit's Stroganoff
My child, Berit, wanted to make up their own recipe. This recipe utilized a lot of their favorite things, and they were able to make it on their own at 10.
I love that the recipe takes only about 30 minutes. If we don't have plans for dinner, I can stop off at the grocery store and grab the ingredients on the way home and we can get dinner on the table in 30 minutes.

Serves: 4
Ingredients
2 to 3 pounds stew meat trimmed
2 packages Pioneer Au Jus
1 cup water
1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
1 Tablespoon summer savory
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 package Skinner Tricolor Rigatoni Pasta
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup Sargento Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
Boil 4 quarts of water and add salt and olive oil. Once water is boiling add pasta, stirring constantly for the first 30 seconds. Brown stew meat over medium heat in a large, deep fry pan. Once meat is browned, lower temperature to medium low. Mix the water and au jus in bowl or mixing container and then pour over meat. Stir until it thickens. Next add sour cream, summer savory and white pepper. Stir until sauce thickens. Drain pasta when it is done and put in bowl. Then pour meat and sauce over pasta. Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese.
Serves 5 to 6.
