Dillards is a dinosaur
Dillard's is a dinosaur! You know that one thing that happens every now and then to really make you angry.....well Dillard's has permanently lost me as a customer. My Mom is a planner and always shops early for things. She purchased an outfit for me and specifically asked if there were any limits on the returnability and was told no. The outfit didn't fit. When I went to return it, they told me it was past their return policy and they wouldn't take it back. I had all the receipts, made the return in a reasonable time, but their return policy had run out before I received the gift. In the day and age where most stores take anything back if you are unsatisfied with the product such as Kohl's and JCPenny's and stores with notoriously strict returns policies are losing up to keep their customer base. Dilliard's has decided that they would like to erode their customer base and become extinct. Not only would they not take the clothes back, but the supervisor was so rude I don't know if I would go back even if they had taken back the clothes. To top it all off, when my Mom called the store which told her there would be no problem, they referred her to the executive offices. These people were equally as rude as their line managers. At this point, I have found other places to make my Dillard's purchases. We should all comment with our feet and shop where we are provided excellent service! I now understand why Dillard's is empty at the mall.
